Annual General Meeting of Membership

The Barrie Folk Society became a not-for-profit incorporation in February 2005 and as such, will hold an annual general meeting of its members in the first quarter of each year.

Members will be informed by email of the meeting date, location and agenda at least 30 days prior.

At the January 2006 AGM the membership voted to adopt a uniform anniversary date of November 30 each year. This date was chosen as many members renew their membership at the Folk Festival held in November.

Membership cards were dispensed with and will no longer be mailed to members. A list of current members will be at all BFS events and members need only show ID to receive the $2 rebate on admission prices.
