Performers Application

If you have performed for the Barrie Folk Society in the past or have sent us a promo kit within the past year, please contact Arnie. If you have never performed for the Barrie Folk Society, and wish to perform in the concert series, please mail a promo kit to:

Your promo kit should include:
- most recent CD or cassette
- brief biography
- list of recent or upcoming performance dates
- exact lineup configuration of what would be presented live
- contact info, including email, website, snail mail, phone and fax
- please do not send press clippings
No EPKs (Electronic Press Kits) will be considered. While the BFS is environmentally friendly, listening to EPKs require extensive listening time considering the number of applications received by the volunteer Artistic Director.
Performance Confirmation All submissions will be considered. If you are not chosen to perform this year, you will remain on file and considered for the following year. Promo kits will not be returned and remain property of the Barrie Folk Society. However your CD may be donated to the Barrie Public Library to keep your music in circulation.
The BFS thanks all those that apply. Your support and interest is greatly appreciated. Only those selected to perform will be contacted.
If you have not heard back on your submission, please assume that we are unable to offer a performance spot at this time.
