20140509-202014The BarrieFolk May open stage featured musicians from as far afield as Brampton. It was another jam-packed line-up starting with three songs from Al Raney from Sundridge. Al next joined his son Sean on the Seals and Crofts hit, Summer Breeze. Jeff Miller followed with three great tunes. Local musician Mitchell Wilson played a rousing set of songs including Fred Eaglesmith’s 49 Tons. Continuing in the family-long distance theme were brothers Glen and Keith MacFarlane who travelled all the way from Brampton. The evening was rounded out with songs from Patty McLaughlin and Paul Snelgrove.
