Volunteer

The Barrie Folk Society is a non-profit volunteer driven organization that relies on the enthusiasm and commitment of many to ensure the success of all our events. Events like the Unplugged Saturday Nights (Open Stage) at the Barrie Public Library, house concerts and fund-raising activities.

We need volunteers for Barrie Folk : Roots Music Festival, our second annual one-day festival happening in November, 2007 at the Barrie campus of Georgian College.

Please note: For BFS volunteers a minimum five hour shift is required over the course of the festival and in exchange volunteers receive:

• A souvenir BFS Crew t-shirt,
• Free admission to festival
• An invitation to the volunteer appreciation party to celebrate their contribution.
• Light refreshments will be available for all volunteers that day
